Jason Caldwell - Distance Education

Jason Caldwell is known throughout Queensland for his enthusiastic vision for Home Base Education, workshops and home visits. He has been working in Education as a teacher, Principal and volunteer for over 15 years. Jason has worked in Distance Education for the last three years as Head of Department, Team Leader and Volunteer. He and his family have visited over three hundred Distance Education Families often in their own weekends and holiday time to support Christian Home Based Education and share their faith in Christ.

Jason is committed to improving services and the levels of support available to families involved in Home Based Education. He and his wife Vanessa, who is also a Registered Teacher, are currently Home Schooling their own three children.

Dear Home Based Educator

I am grateful to God for the opportunity to serve you and your family. I am also grateful to the Groves Christian College Board for their hard work, leadership and vision to support Christian Home Based Educators.

Finally I would like to thank the many families that have encouraged me in my calling to support Christian Home Schoolers during this time of transition.

With the solid foundation at Groves I am excited to think of all that God has for each of us involved in Home Based Education.
