Most athlete and non-athletes who trains to gain health and fitness or even elite competition, particularly when they are doing this on a regular basis, would have more than likely experienced the problems of an exercise related injury which has interfered with what they want to do. Nearly a 1 / 2 of these runners who run will experience an injury during a 12 month time period. The most prevalent of these kinds of overuse injuries known as medial tibial stress syndrome. This injury is a discomfort down the inside of the shin bone, usually close to the center. It’s most commonly thought to be because of doing too much jogging too soon, but current ideas have indicated that it’s as a result of twisting moments in the shin bone.
