Robinson Cano hit a home run that set the tone to end the streak of seven consecutive victories Pineiro, and New York Yankees beat the Angels 10-6 in Los Angeles.

The victory allowed the Yankees to even the series two games.

With 10 days’ rest, Javier Vazquez (8-7) nearly wasted a six-run to exhaustion on a day of high humidity and heat. But the bullpen came to his aid and got the 150th victory of his career, beating his compatriot step Pineiro.

“It was one of those days when you can not do your best pitches, ” said the Puerto Rican.

In other games in the American League defeated the Kansas City Royals 5-2 Toronto Blue Jays with three hits of the Cuban Brayan Pena Tampa Bay Rays prevailed 5-4 Baltimore Orioles , with rescuing the Dominican Rafael Soriano ( 24) and the Oakland Athletics won 6-4 Boston Red Sox , despite an Adrian Beltre homer hander Boston Red Sox Tickets at Fenway Park.
